School Calendar Survey

Consultation has concluded

Creating a school calendar involves balancing many considerations, including legislated requirements, Alberta Education mandates, collective agreements, statutory holidays, and most importantly, factors that impact student learning. While our top priority is always supporting student success, we also strive to create a calendar that works well for students, staff, and families. The Board values your input to help shape calendars that best meet the needs of our school community.

As we finalize the 2025-2026 School Calendar and plan for future years, we'd love to hear from you! Your feedback helps us understand what matters most to our school community.

  • Should school always start after Labour Day?
  • Would you prefer more or fewer no-school days during the year?
  • Would you like longer or shorter breaks?
  • Should a November break be added to the calendar?

Let us know by completing the survey below. Your voice makes a difference!
