Draft AP 341 - Student Use of Personal Mobile Devices and Social Media in Schools

In June, Ministerial Order #014/2024 mandated restrictions on the use of personal mobile devices and social media in schools. The order requires NLPS to have policies or procedures related to the new standards in place by January 1, 2025.

Over the last few months, division and school leadership have worked on drafting an administrative procedure that outlines, among other requirements, the expectations for NLPS students, and the consequences for non-compliance. NLPS is inviting stakeholders to provide feedback on this draft administrative procedure prior to November 29, 2024.
